UK Government Consultation on Property Income Tax

The UK Government is currently consulting on the rules and regulations around property income tax. This may impact how you pay tax on your property in the future.

The questions are for those who receive income from letting out residential property, on both a short-term and longer-term basis, including holiday lettings. There are also questions about the Furnished holiday letting regime, where this is relevant. The UK Government are interested in hearing from those who own their let residential property either on an individual basis, jointly, through a partnership or a company.

Respond to the consultation.

The deadline for responses is 5th June 2022.
