The Digital Tourism Scotland programme will offer advice, workshops and insight into how others are adopting digital practices.

The programme takes a regional approach to delivery that meets the specific needs of the tourism businesses in our region.

This introductory session allows you to do a “self-assessment” of your business digital skills and knowledge and as a result book onto further practical sessions to address your learning needs.

SuperControl can now Integration with HomeAway / Owners Direct for owners with less than 5 properties

SuperControl now has an iCal integration, which updates availability from SuperControl to HomeAway and Owners Direct:

HomeAway iCal Integration:

You can use the HomeAway iCal feed if you have fewer than five listings.  Just go to Integrations > Channel Manager > International > HomeAway to set it up. Or, contact SuperControl Support for more information.

Owners Direct iCal Integration:

For those of you with fewer than five listings, SuperControl also has an Owners Direct iCal integration, which will update your availability from SuperControl to Owners Direct.

You do not need a HomeAway listing to use this integration. Just go to Integrations > Channel manager > International > Owners Direct to set it up.

Membership Subscriptions for 2016

The following Membership Subscription Fees were agreed at the 2015 AGM and will come into effect on 1st February 2016:

(a) The annual Membership subscription will be raised to £80.  Membership includes a full range of benefits including information, support and advice; supplier discounts; events and networking opportunities; industry representation; support from industry experts; access to the ASSC members’ website.

(b) The Marketing Package will be £55 plus £12 per property. This comprises a page on the EmbraceScotland website, access to our social media marketing and the use of the ASSC and EmbraceScotland logos.

(c)  The annual Agency Membership subscription will remain at £110. Agency Membership is available to businesses that manage self-catering properties for other people.

(d) The annual Trade Suppliers Membership subscription will be £80.

(e) Ceiling limits will no longer be applicable.
