European Holiday Home Awards 2018

Nominations are now open for the European Holiday Home Award 2018.

Nominate your property on the award webpage www.holidayhomeaward.eu and by spreading the word about the European Holiday Home Award.

This year there are 14 categories!

The award helps to generate more public awareness about short-term rental and the range of options available to guests. The EHHA wants to showcase excellent examples of holiday homes and to promote the EHHA as the European voice for short-term rental.

Deadline: The award will be open for nominations until 10th June.

ASSC Membership Survey on Key Business Issues

Prior to a meeting with the Scottish Government’s Cabinet Secretary for Finance and Constitution on 23rd April 2018, the Association of Scotland’s Self-Caterers undertook a survey of its members to gauge their views on the possible introduction of a tourist tax in Scotland, issues around business rates and the Small Business Bonus Scheme, as well as on matters concerning the cost of doing business. In the survey, there was also an opportunity for our members to offer comments on the key issues. Nearly 200 responses were received, representing almost one-third of our membership.
