New Extra Value Offers Page Introduced

New Extra Value Offers Page Introduced

As suggested by members, we have just introduced a new Extra Value Offers page, as part of our Special Offers feature.  If you have something special to shout about – discounts, added value or something extra, you can now add one offer per Property Page in this section.

The section is for when you want to promote some sort of added value offer on your properties.  This could be:

  • A discount on your normal seasonal rates
  • A promotional offer to highlight some particular aspect of your property, holiday experience or service
  • An added value ‘special’ such as a link with a local visitor attraction or activity

The ‘date window’ for Extra Value Offers is a full year, allowing you to post your offers at any time.  However, this means that for the system to work (and not bring EmbraceScotland into disrepute) you need to choose your Offer dates carefully and make sure you remove your offer when it runs out or expires (unless this is the End Date you choose, in which case it will be removed automatically).

Offer Titles – Make sure your Offer Title is descriptive of you offer, or it will not make sense in the listing page.

Price – Put in a price that is indicative what a customer might pay.  You can include text as well as a price to explain.  Please don’t put something vague such as ‘Price on application’ or ‘See website for prices’ as this devalues the offer and the page.

If you need any advice, contact Eleanor by email, or call her on 01462 894483.
