The ASSC is delighted to invite you to their regional event in partnership with Moray Speyside Tourism
Aimed directly at the people and businesses who operate short-term holiday rental accommodation in Moray Speyside.
We are excited to announce that the event being held at the Strathisla Distillery, will attract fellow self-caterers / short-term rental operators, industry representatives and tourism stakeholders from across Moray Speyside.
There will be a Q&A session with an industry panel and plenty of networking opportunities with refreshments provided. This is a great opportunity to find out more about us:
- Jenna Collins, Visitor Centre Manager, Strathisla Distillery, will welcome and introduce us to Strathisla, the oldest working distillery in Speyside.
- Fiona Campbell, CEO of ASSC will provide an update on Industry – These are challenging as well as exciting times for Scotland’s traditional short-term rental sector, which generates £723 million to Scotland’s economy. Worried about the Planning (Scotland) Bill amendment? Tourist Tax? Business Rates? Fiona will be available to answer your questions.
- Laurie Piper, of Moray Speyside Tourism, the DMO for Malt Whisky Country will provide details of the organisation’s campaign to secure the future of tourism development in Moray Speyside through the introduction of a region-wide Tourism Business Improvement District.
- We will also be joined by a member of Visit Scotland’s Industry Development Team who will provide an update on the latest trends and opportunities for the sector.
There are a limited number of spaces available for this FREE event. Refreshments will be provided and there will also be an opportunitey to enjoy a short tour of the distillery.
The event is aimed directly at the people and businesses providing short-term let and holiday rental accommodation in Moray Speyside. It will be an excellent opportunity for you to network with ASSC Members alongside people and businesses working in tourism locally.
